2020 has started with a shower of awards for Photography by Edina as I have achieved 1st and 2nd places within an image competition by Find the best Photographer. Every month The Baby And Newborn Network host an Image Contest for the members. Members are also the people who vote for the winning image. It’s an amazing accolade to be voted for by your peers.
This is very prestigious as every month thousands of photographers send their images to participate in the image competition and only 3 winning images are being picked as winners. Last month I have achieved second place within the newborn category with the gorgeous image above.
As well as the Newborn category, last month Find the best Photographer launched a new category called Digital Art, where only images created with digital backdrops were allowed to be submitted. Digital backdrops allow us, photographers, to create unbelievable and stunning image compositions without risking the baby's safety.
After deciding to enter the competition I even forgot that I've done so. You could imagine how it surprised me when I've found out that I have won first AND second place with two of my favourite images!
When creating all of the above images I was creating something timeless for my clients that the can truly treasure for years to come. If you’d like to book me to photograph your own new arrival most of my clients book in their third trimester but it’s always worth contracting me if your baby has already arrived as I do sometimes have last minute availability. I love to photograph Newborns, Sitters and Cake Smashes!
